Bladder Infection or UTI

It used to be called a Bladder infection, now it is more commonly known by the more sophisticated and somewhat more accurate Urinary Tract Infection. Usually this infection is started from the outside, and travels up the urethra to the bladder. Somewhere on its journey the bacteria finds a foothold and causes a full-fledged infection.
I grew up knowing that Cranberries prevented bladder infections. Back then we didn’t know why, we thought it was because the cranberries made the urine more acidic and less hospitable to the bacteria. Now science has shown that cranberries make the walls of the urethra more slippery so the bacteria can’t grab hold and grow. Without being able to grab hold the bacteria is simply flushed from the body.
Growing up I was normally given either anti-biotics or sulfa drugs for a bladder infection. Nobody talked about natural treatments, nor did they talk about prevention. Now we know a lot more about the phenomenon we thought was a normal part of life, especially for women and girls. Instead of anti-biotics we can take Enriching Gifts Lightning Colloidal Silver. Unlike the pharmaceuticals bacteria cannot become immune to silver.
Science has shown that if you have good bacteria in your system you don’t have as much impact from the bad bacteria. This is why there are more and more commercials for yogurt on the television. A better source of the good bacteria is Enriching Gifts Pro-Biotic with FOS. Unlike yogurt and other forms of pro-biotics Enriching Gifts Pro-Biotic with FOS doesn’t have to be refrigerated. This is really helpful when traveling.
Keeping your immune system strong is another way to prevent bladder infections. To accomplish this we recommend a combination of Enriching Gifts Plant Enzymes and Enriching Gifts Sterol Max. Enriching Gifts Sterol Max works by increasing the amount of disease fighting cells in your body. Enriching Gifts Plant Enzymes help out by taking the clean up duties from your immune cells, leaving them the more important duties of protecting your body.
Many doctors recommend increasing your anti-oxidants if you have problems with bladder infections. They usually recommend taking Vitamin C. Instead try Enriching Gifts Metabolic Complete. These have about 100% more anti-oxidants than vitamin C alone. Anti-oxidants are the ammunition your immune system uses to keep you healthy. A strong immune system is our first line of defense against any infection.
There are several herbs that either help fight a bladder infection, or make you more comfortable. Among the most notable are Uva-ursi and Kava Kava. Uva-ursi is an antiseptic, and Kava Kava has a relaxant effect on the bladder muscles. Others mentioned frequently are parsley, goldenrod, Oregon graperoot, Echinacea, dandelion, and of course cranberry.
My granddaughter was having a problem one day with constantly wetting her pants. At 3½ this is pretty unusual for her. Without knowing what else to do my daughter-in-law gave her a swig of Enriching Gifts Lightning Colloidal Silver within minutes the discomfort went away and our smiling little girl was back to normal. Because we didn’t let it develop into a full blown infection we can’t say for sure that the Enriching Gifts Lightning Colloidal Silver cured it, but we can say we had a much happier little girl for the rest of the evening.
