Acid Reflux

Acid reflux is sometimes used to mean the old fashioned term'heartburn'. When you look up heartburn in your medical dictionary, especially one that emphasizes alternative treatments they will tell you that heartburn can be caused by stress, age, poor digestion, a hiatal hernia, or bacteria. The burning sensation is the acid from your stomach coming up into and burning your esophagus. It can range from a mild irritation to extremely painful. Some people who have acid reflux and heart disease can't always tell the difference between the acid reflux and an angina attack.
Many of us have been told to take antacids such as Tums or Maalox to control the burning sensation. The problem with antacids are they way they work. They work by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach. This is great if you have an overabundance of acid, but how many of us can really say that? One way of telling if this is your problem is at the first sign of discomfort to take two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar. You can either swallow it straight or mix with a small amount of water. If your heartburn gets worse you have too much stomach acid. If it reduces or goes away then that is not your problem. Taking the antacids would still work, but now you have reduced or even eliminated your ability to digest many foods. This may lead to other, more serious problems.
What can we do instead?
Experts such as Dr, William Warnock, N.D. And Dr. Pamela Taylor, N.D., say to first look at your diet and eating habits. Fatty foods, fried foods, high-protein foods, alcohol and coffee are often culprits. So are eating quickly and gulp their food, or just plain eating too much at one time.
Looking at the list above brings to mind one word: digestion.
All of those things listed, as well as the possibility of a bacteria infection points to poor digestion. Poor digestion points to the need for Enriching Gifts Plant Enzymes. Enriching Gifts Plant Enzymes allow you to digest things more quickly, this will take care of the fried, fatty foods, high protein foods, alcohol, coffee, and eating too much. It will also help those that have eaten too quickly and swallowed the foods in large chunks.
What if you suspect a bacterial infection?
Then you would want to start with a course of Enriching Gifts Lightning Colloidal Silver, followed ten days later by Enriching Gifts Pro Biotic with FOS. The Enriching Gifts Lightning Colloidal Silver will kill the bacteria much as an antibiotic would do, then after it has done its job your use of Enriching Gifts Pro Biotic with FOS will recolonize your system with the good bacteria that help with digestion. This will help prevent the bad bacteria from coming back.
So, we have eliminated the root cause, what can we do about the discomfort while our irritated esophagus heals? This is where Enriching Gifts Aloe Ace Max comes in. Aloe is a soothing substance. It also helps the cells heal or rejuvenate faster. Liquid aloe juice is a good choice, but two capsules of Enriching Gifts Aloe Ace Max contains as much of the active ingredients as a gallon of aloe juice. You can see where that might increase the rate of healing.
Another comfort measure is the Enriching Gifts Coral Life. This is useful when you have determined that you do indeed have too much stomach acid. Calcium is the active ingredient in most antacids. Unfortunately the companies that make antacids include a lot of other things that can be harmful to your health. One of these is aluminum, which may have links to Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. Why not eliminate the possible toxic side effects and go for the purest, most easily absorbed form of calcium?
