Eyebright

Eyebright has been used traditionally, since the middle Ages, for the support of eye fatigue and vision. According to old text of the "Old Doctrine of Signatures," the purple and yellow spots and stripes of eyebright resemble bloodshot eyes, which was an early indicator of the plant's intended herbal use.

• As an herbal supplement, take two capsules daily with or without food.
• Precautions: Keep out of reach of children. Not recommended for use during pregnancy or while nursing, until further research verifies no contraindications. Discontinue if unusual symptoms occur. Do not exceed recommended dose unless under the guidance of a health care professional.
