A more scientific term for eczema is atopic dermatitis. There hasn’t been a cause determined for this itchy, scaly, problem. Many scientists believe there is a connection between eczema and allergies. This is because a majority of the people with eczema also has other allergic symptoms. Many of the things that relieve allergies seem to at least relieve the discomfort of eczema. For true relief of allergies I swear by a process called BioSet. This is done by a chiropractic that has taken additional training in this procedure. I went to one when I was allergic to many foods, and can eat those foods comfortably today. This process takes some time, so in the meantime here are some additional steps you could try.
Boost your immune system. Most allergies are a misfiring of the immune system. When the immune system is weak it begins seeing everything as a threat, and reacts accordingly. To picture this concept think of a cat in a fight, especially if it is losing. The owner of the cat is in as much, or more, danger from their beloved pet as they are from the strange cat attacking it. To reach in and pluck his beloved kitty from the presence of the other cat invites his kitty to turn on him. This is because animals in frenzy lose track of who they are striking out at. The same thing happens to your immune system. When it is overwhelmed it tends to strike out at everything.
My favorite ways of boosting my immune system starts with the Enriching Gifts Plant Enzymes. I take these with every meal and again at bedtime. By ensuring I have enough enzymes to digest each meal I know that no undigested particles can get into my blood stream. By taking them on an empty stomach at bedtime I allow the enzymes to get into my blood stream and work throughout the night to clean out my body of substances that shouldn’t be there. Whenever my immune system has been stressed I reach for Enriching Gifts Sterol Max.
When you first start using >Enriching Gifts Sterol Maxyou will want to start with six on an empty stomach. After a couple of months you can cut down to three. This will allow the plant sterols to keep your immune system in good working order.
Reduce InflamationBecause eczema is an irritation of the skin you will want to look at reducing inflammation both internally and externally. Externally there are a lot of choices. Some that were mentioned were compresses of chamomile, licorice, blackberry, elderberry, goldenseal, lemon juice, marigold, and many other lesser known herbs can be applied to the skin in tea form or added to an oatmeal bath. If you are using real oatmeal grind it very fine in a coffee grinder, or put it in a sock or bag. Otherwise, it plays havoc with the plumbing.
For internal inflammation reduction many people recommend Echinacea. I prefer to use Enriching Gifts Aloe Ace-Max. Just like it works to use aloe juice on an external irritation taking Enriching Gifts Aloe Ace-Max internally allows the aloe to seek out inflammation inside your system. It’s great when I over do on my workouts!
Treat the infectionBecause eczema is usually an open wound you will want to be concerned about infection. Some studies are showing that people with eczema tend to have more bacteria on their skin, and even fungus. Whether this is a cause or an effect is unknown. One way to combat this is to use Enriching Gifts Lightning Colloidal Silver on your skin. You can dilute it by putting it in your bath, or better yet put a little in a spray bottle with distilled water. Then you can sprits it on your skin several times throughout the day. Because silver kills bacteria, virus and fungus on contact you will eliminate those causes or results of your inflammation.
Good health begins with giving your body the nutrition it needs. The Enriching Gifts product line is designed to help with that quest. The second step is to eliminate the toxins from our bodies. Here again I reach for Enriching Gifts products. These two steps take time, so in the mean time it is wise to look for relief for the symptoms of your ill health. Some of that relief can be found through Enriching Gifts, but some can be found in your local herb garden as well.
